This lampshade was made for a hotel at Henley . The colours were chosen to compliment the beautifully marbelled wallpaper.The 28" Magnolia is one of the most impressive of the Tiffany lampshades and although the design is relatively simple compared to the wisteria or laburnum , the sheer size of this shade makes it most satisfying from a maker,s point of view.Originals of this design have sold in the States for seven figure sums.Ours are rather less expensive but reflect many of the qualities of the originals.The colours we use can be to your specification and wallpaper and fabric samples can often be matched to particular glasses.Back to Tiffany |
